THE OPPORTUNITY
Our client is seeking a motivated Associate Attorney to join its Lancaster, PA office. This is a full-time, on-site position for an attorney ready to hit the ground running in a fast-paced civil litigation environment. You will work directly with experienced partners and senior counsel, gaining hands-on experience across a diverse defense docket.
PRACTICE AREAS
The Associate will have the opportunity to work across our client's core defense practice areas, which include:
- Commercial Transportation & DOT Regulatory
- Construction Defect & Construction Litigation
- Premises Liability
- Product Liability
- General Liability / Insurance Coverage & Bad Faith
- Arson & Fire Investigation
- Dram Shop & Government Liability
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Handle a caseload of civil litigation matters from inception through resolution
- Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests and responses
- Conduct depositions, arbitrations, and court appearances
- Perform legal research and prepare case strategy memoranda
- Communicate directly with clients, opposing counsel, and the court
- Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys on complex matters
- 1,900-2,000 Billable Hour Requirement
QUALIFICATIONS
- J.D. from an accredited law school and active Pennsylvania Bar admission (or eligibility)
- 1+ years of civil litigation experience required
- Defense-side experience preferred
- Strong written and oral advocacy skills
- Ability to manage competing deadlines with a high degree of professionalism
- Self-starter with a team-oriented mindset
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

LOCATION
