Litigation Attorney – Personal Injury

Position Summary

The ideal candidate is a passionate advocate who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, is confident in the courtroom, and is committed to providing top‑tier representation for personal injury clients. This role involves managing a full litigation caseload with the support of a dedicated team.


Key Responsibilities

Personal Injury case management — Handle and manage personal injury files from intake through trial.


Litigation preparation — Draft pleadings, conduct discovery, take depositions, and prepare cases for trial.


Client and stakeholder communication — Regularly interact with clients, adjusters, staff, and opposing counsel.


Team leadership — Lead a litigation team of 5+ members.


Trial advocacy — Litigate cases from beginning to end.


Attention to detail — Maintain strong work ethic and accuracy.


Collaboration — Work cohesively within a team environment.


Supervision — Oversee and support other team members.


Pre‑litigation experience — Manage and negotiate pre‑litigation cases.


Commercial motor vehicle cases — Handle cases involving commercial motor vehicles.


Trucking litigation development — Willingness to expand knowledge and pursue board certification in truck accident law.


Independent accountability — Work independently while maintaining accountability.


Qualifications

Graduate of an ABA‑accredited law school


Active member in good standing with the Texas Bar


Minimum 5 years of personal injury litigation experience


Excellent written and verbal communication skills


Proficiency with legal research tools (Westlaw, Lexis‑Nexis)


Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities


Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail


Trial experience preferred


Commercial case experience a plus


Experience with trucking or commercial motor vehicle litigation a plus


Spanish bilingual skills are a plus
