Associate Attorney

About the Role:

Highly regarded collection litigation and bankruptcy firm seeks an associate with 1–4 years of practical litigation experience. Matters range from simple consumer collection cases to complex commercial litigation. The practice operates statewide throughout New Jersey and Pennsylvania; therefore, some travel (non-overnight) will be required. Candidates must be a member in good standing of the New Jersey Bar. Pennsylvania Bar admission, or the ability to waive into PA, is highly desirable. Bankruptcy experience is also strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle consumer collection and commercial litigation matters
• Manage cases from inception through trial
• Appear in court and be prepared to handle trials from day one
• Travel within NJ and PA as required (non-overnight)
• Work collaboratively following firm standards and litigation strategies

Qualifications:

• 1–4 years of practical litigation experience
• Active NJ Bar membership in good standing
• PA Bar admission or eligibility to waive into PA preferred
• Bankruptcy litigation experience is a plus
• Strong trial readiness and courtroom skills
