A well-established Florida law firm is hiring an Associate Attorney to join its general liability and insurance defense practice in Boca Raton. The firm is hiring urgently, with active files ready to assign on day one. This is a seat for a litigator who wants real ownership of a caseload, not just a slice of someone else's docket.

The Opportunity

You will manage your own files from inception through resolution, working directly with clients, carriers, and opposing counsel. The caseload is steady, the practice is stable, and the firm offers a long runway to grow.

What You'll Do

• Manage a general liability defense caseload from intake through resolution
• Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery
• Attend depositions, mediations, and case evaluations
• Handle third-party defense matters including premises liability, auto accident defense, and insurance defense litigation
• Communicate directly with clients, carriers, and opposing counsel

What You Bring

• 3 to 5 years of experience in general liability and/or insurance defense
• Third-party defense experience (no first-party work)
• Active Florida Bar membership in good standing
• Strong litigation, writing, and case management skills
• Ability to work in-office in Boca Raton

Compensation

Base salary of $145,000, commensurate with experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package. Limited work-from-home flexibility.
