A well-established and growing Owner Builder Developer is seeking an Assistant Superintendent with experience in ground-up multifamily construction to join their team in the San Diego area. This is an excellent opportunity to work on large-scale projects with a company that offers a strong pipeline and long-term stability.

Position Overview

The Assistant Superintendent will support the Lead Superintendent in managing daily field operations, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and to quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in overseeing day-to-day field operations on ground-up multifamily projects
• Coordinate subcontractors and ensure work is completed per schedule
• Help enforce job site safety standards and company policies
• Monitor quality control and ensure work meets project specifications
• Support scheduling and sequencing of trades
• Participate in site meetings and provide progress updates
• Assist with inspections and project closeout

Qualifications

• 2–5+ years of construction experience, with multifamily ground-up projects
• Experience supporting a Superintendent on active job sites
• Strong understanding of construction methods, sequencing, and safety practices
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks
• Strong communication and leadership skills
