A. Daily Job Duties
- Supervise the field construction of a project, including its organization, planning, and scheduling, in order to complete the work on time, within budget, and to the specified quality.
- Develop and implement site planning, logistics and procedures for the execution of the work.
- Develop and implement quality assurance and control procedures.
- Develop and implement work schedules identifying the critical path including the expediting of scheduled critical materials and equipment for their timely delivery to site.
- Coordinate, direct, and monitor the activities of subcontractors, suppliers, and materials.
- Establish and enforce a comprehensive project safety & security program as defined in the company safety program and in accordance with all applicable safety codes and regulations.
- Lead the worksite by example and exemplify DCBA culture in the process of all jobsite activities and meetings.
Visits to various sites around New England are required. Must be able to climb permanent and temporary stairs, climb ladders and negotiate work areas under construction. Must have close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds; be exposed to moving mechanical parts; mobile and stationary cranes; elevated structures; fumes or airborne particles; outside weather conditions and risk of electrical shock.

B. Education
- Four-year college degree with at least four years of formal engineering OR architectural training or at least three years of building construction experience required.
C. Minimum Related Prior Experience
- Two years of field engineering or assistant superintendent experience.
D. Preferred Special Skills
- Excellent understanding of accounting and cost control procedures.
- Ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing.
- Demonstrate management know-how, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of:
- All general contract, subcontract documents, drawings and specifications.
- Microsoft Office
- Procore Construction Manager and Microsoft Project scheduling
- OSHA 10/30 Hour Certification and LEED Accreditation
