Assistant Project Manager

Job Category: Full-Time/ Direct Hire

Pay: $50,000 - $70,000/ DOE + Benefits and Growth opportunities

BBSI has partnered with a well-established commercial electrical contractor to hire a driven Project Coordinator to support active construction and service projects.

This is a hands-on, front-line operations role—not just administrative support. You’ll work closely with Project Managers and field teams to keep projects moving, aligned, and on schedule.

Duties

• Support project schedules, timelines, and daily coordination efforts
• Act as a key liaison between project managers, field crews, vendors, and clients
• Coordinate manpower, schedules, and jobsite needs
• Track materials, deliveries, and logistics to avoid delays
• Monitor project progress and proactively address issues
• Maintain project documentation and provide status updates
• Assist with permitting and ensure compliance with project requirements

Qualifications

• 3+ years of construction coordination experience (electrical preferred)
• Strong understanding of project workflows and field operations
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Procore/Bluebeam
• Bilingual Spanish a plus
