Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant Manager at Brides by Young in Schaumburg, IL. The Assistant Manager will oversee daily store operations, support the team in achieving sales goals as well as work as a Senior Stylist as needed, and ensure a seamless, positive client experience. Responsibilities include ensuring customer satisfaction, managing staff performance, handling inventory, shipping and receiving, and working directly with Senior Management. Additionally, the Assistant Manager will assist in upholding store policies and maintaining the highest brand standards.

Qualifications

• Customer service and interpersonal skills to ensure a welcoming and supportive shopping experience
• Leadership, team management, and organizational skills to effectively oversee staff and store operations
• Sales experience, including the ability to meet and exceed sales targets, and drive team performance
• Problem-solving, decision-making, and multitasking abilities to address client and operational challenges
• Attention to detail and proficiency Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel)
• Capability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
• Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver bridal gowns weighing up to 25 lbs on a regular basis, with or without reasonable accommodation
• Experience in bridal retail or fashion is highly preferred
• College degree (2 or 4 year) is preferred but not required
