We're looking for an Asset Manager to take full ownership of how we track, procure, allocate, and retire technology assets across a growing, technology-driven specialty pharmacy. The Asset Manager sits at the intersection of IT, Finance, HR, and Security. This hands-on role requires someone capable of building a structured system, not just working inside an existing process.
Position Details
- Location: Dallas, Texas
- Hybrid: 4 days onsite, 1 day remote
- Competitive compensation and benefits
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship
- W2 engagement only; no corp-to-corp
- This role involves hands-on coordination of physical IT equipment, shipping logistics, and inventory management
What You'll Do
- Own the full asset lifecycle (procurement, allocation, tracking, through decommissioning) for all inventory: hardware, software licenses, and security devices (laptops, workstations, monitors, docking stations, keyboards, mice, headsets, badges, security keys, USB drives, and conference room and facility equipment)
- Maintain accurate asset records in Asset Panda across all office locations and remote employees
- Process purchase orders for hardware and software, coordinating with Finance on approvals and compliance with internal approval thresholds
- Coordinate asset distribution and returns for new hires, internal transfers, and employee off-boarding — including shipping logistics, return kits, and documentation of missing assets reported
- Generate monthly asset reconciliation and loss reports; document asset shrinkage and ensure appropriate financial write-offs when needed
- Support internal audits with accurate, organized records and documentation
- Build and continuously improve asset management SOPs, governance processes, and reconciliation dashboards
- Monitor inventory levels, forecast equipment needs, and ensure help desk teams are keeping asset records current
- Partner cross-functionally with IT Service Desk, Finance, HR, and Security/Facilities teams
Required Qualifications
- 3–7 years of experience in IT Asset Management, IT Operations, or Inventory Management
- Hands-on experience managing hardware, software, and technology asset lifecycles
- Experience with an asset management platform (Asset Panda or similar)
- Ability to manage procurement processes and purchase orders within a defined approval structure
- Strong documentation habits and organizational skills — you build the system, not just use it
- Clear written communication skills for process documentation and cross-functional reporting
- Ability to influence teams and drive accountability without direct authority
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with ServiceNow or other IT Service Management platforms
- Experience building asset reconciliation or reporting dashboards
- Background supporting internal audits or compliance initiatives
- Experience with process improvement or operational workflow development
- Exposure to M&A asset integration
How Success is Measured
- Accurate asset documentation within the asset management system
- Timely fulfillment of equipment requests
- Compliance with defined asset tracking processes
- Monthly reconciliation reporting accuracy
- Audit readiness and documentation quality
