Focusing on commercial and military aircrafts, NAT provides first class services in design, engineering, quality, certification, and manufacturing for a variety of Blue Chip customers.Position Summary:The Assembly Mechanic is responsible for following procedures forproduct assembly, fabrication, equipment operation and safety requirements.Key Duties and Responsibilities:* Use a variety of tools and equipment to assemble product according to required specifications and procedures. This includes drilling, edge fill, bonding, mechanical fasteners and fiberglass prepreg,* Responsible for the quality of the product.* Responsible for tool accountability and maintenance within the Assemble area.* Responsible for keeping the work area clean and safe.* Very minimal guidance required to accomplish tasks.* Any other duties assigned by a lead and/or Senior Assembly Mechanic.

CoSafran Cabin NAT looks for service-oriented team players with strong interpersonal skills, the right attitude and adaptability to an innovative and evolving environment.Knowledge/Experience* High School education or GED.* Typically 1 year experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably related to aerospaceSkills/Abilities* Ability to communicate orally with others* Troubleshooting/problem solving* Ability to prioritize, multi-task effectively, and work under pressure* Able to perform basic mathematic calculations* Understanding of customer's expectations* Understand drawings, specification and follow written procedures.Working Conditions:* Manufacturing environment.Physical Requirements:* Some bending, climbing, grasping and lifting.* Occasional lifting of up to 35 pounds.* Hearing and vision within normal ranges is essential for safe conduct on the manufacturing floor and to meet job responsibilities.mpany will consider at the very least someone out of a trade program such as WATR Program. Would prefer 6 months - 1 year aerospace assembly experience

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.24 - $28.56/hr.
