Assembler

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assembler 1 to join their team. As an Assembler 1, you will be an integral part of the production department supporting the assembly of high-quality products that meet customer specifications. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Assembler 1

Location: Traverse City, MI

Pay Range: $20-26/hr

Shift: 1st (6:00am - 2:30pm) and 2nd (2:30pm - 11:00pm)

What's the Job?

• Read and interpret job cards, engineering drawings, schematics, and work instructions to assemble custom products accurately.
• Operate and utilize various equipment, machinery, and hand tools to produce products that meet specified dimensions and quality standards.
• Assemble components using different materials, ensuring adherence to established procedures and customer specifications.
• Conduct visual inspections and quality checks during assembly to identify and address defects or discrepancies.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to understand customer requirements and provide feedback on product assembly processes.

What's Needed?

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent qualification.
• Ability to read a ruler and tape measure accurately.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic math skills and strong attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies.
