Hiring for Assembler - $18-$19/hr - Can start - ASAP!!!

Job Description

• Set up and operate machine tools such as lathes, mills, boring machines, and grinders.
• Trim, drill, route, line up, and assemble materials.
• Work with forming machine presses.
• Set up and break down production tools and aids.
• Use gauges, scales, calipers, and other measuring equipment.
• Perform daily maintenance on machines including maintaining fluid levels, emptying chips, and cleaning machines.
• Check and monitor parts that are being run.
• Deburr and blend all machined parts.

Essential Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read basic dimensions and tolerances of blueprints.
• Math skills for basic calculations.
• Proficiency in using measuring equipment like calipers and micrometers.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Knowledge of the aerospace industry preferred.
• Trade school education in machining practices preferred.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Charles, MO.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $19.00/hr.
