Job Title: Electrical Panel Builder

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Panel Builder to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics, assembling and wiring panels, and ensuring the highest quality of builds.

Responsibilities

• Tap and wire electrical panels.
• Read and interpret customer-specific blueprints and schematics.
• Inspect the quality of builds to ensure they match blueprints.
• Ensure the correct wires and parts are used in panel construction.
• Perform point-to-point wiring.
• Conduct wire tightness tests with calibrated torque tools to ensure reliability.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in reading schematics and blueprints.
• Experience in panel building and electrical assembly.
• Strong understanding of electrical wiring and control panels.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with basic hand and power tools.
• Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic cable assembly.
• Experience with cable assembly and wiring panels from instructions.
• Ability to identify wire gauges and colors for accurate panel wiring.

Work Environment

This role operates in a temperature-controlled facility. The shift is Monday through Friday, from 7 am to 3:30 pm. The position offers competitive pay based on experience, with different levels of expertise determining compensation.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Rochester, NY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $34.00/hr.
