Job Description

This role focuses on assembling a variety of hydraulic hoses by crimping, fitting o-rings, and preparing finished products for shipment. You will work on a production line to ensure each hose meets quality standards and is accurately boxed and labeled.

Responsibilities

• Assemble a variety of hydraulic hoses according to established procedures and specifications.
• Crimp hydraulic hoses using appropriate tools and equipment.
• Fit and secure o-rings on hoses to ensure proper sealing and performance.
• Inspect assembled hoses for quality, accuracy, and defects before packaging.
• Box and label finished hoses accurately for shipment and inventory tracking.
• Follow production line processes to maintain consistent output and meet daily targets.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with safety and housekeeping standards.
• Follow all safety guidelines and use tools and equipment properly during assembly.

Essential Skills

• Assembly experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Production line experience with attention to quality and efficiency.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and standard operating procedures.
• Strong attention to detail when assembling, inspecting, and labeling products.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort working with hand tools and equipment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Hydraulic assembly or hydraulic system experience.
• Experience working with hoses, fittings, or similar mechanical components.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented production setting.

Work Environment

This is a first-shift, full-time role, Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. You work on a production line in a manufacturing setting, using hand tools and crimping equipment to assemble hydraulic hoses. The environment is structured and process-driven, with an emphasis on safety, cleanliness, and teamwork.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Racine, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
