Job Title: Assembler
Job Description

We are seeking skilled Assemblers to join our team in a dynamic and large-scale manufacturing environment. As an Assembler, you will play a crucial role in the production of plane de-icers, aircraft tow vehicles, cargo loading systems, airport gate equipment, and military equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Work within one or more departments including Loader, Deicer, and Traitor, with potential cross-training opportunities.
  • Assemble and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical equipment.
  • Utilize hand and power tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, drills, files, and grinders to make mechanical connections using nuts, bolts, washers, and screws.
  • Make electrical connections using pre-fabricated harnesses, cutters, wire strippers, and crimping tools.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
  • Perform self-auditing and inspect assembled work using drawings.
Essential Skills
  • 2+ years of mechanical assembly experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
  • Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
  • Required electrical experience (not IPC/small soldering).
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Hydraulic experience is a plus.

Work Environment

Work in an industrial, large-scale manufacturing environment that is air-conditioned. However, be prepared to occasionally venture outside to the yard for materials, which is not air-conditioned.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Orlando, FL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $19.00/hr.
