POSITION SUMMARY:

The Assembly A assembles deck, installs boat carpet, wiring installations, and additional components of the boats.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Selects appropriate part for assembly.
  • Prepares pre-cut fiberglass mat for use in bulkhead to hull joining process.
  • Drills holes in correct location on deck or hull.
  • Installs appropriate part or accessories using a wide variety of securing devise such as screws, bolts, hold-down brackets, hose clamps, glue, or fiberglass.
  • Trims pre-cut openings for better fit and carpet to insure correct fit.
  • Joins deck to hull and glass bulk heads to the hull and finish putty.
  • Pre-cuts hose or trim to correct length to fit appropriate boat model.
  • Checks electrical wiring system and audit boat for final shipping.
  • ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Years of experience: 1 Year

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY:

  • Proficiently perform all processes within the area of specific team owned responsibility
  • Ability to use hand tools
  • Basic understanding of installing different parts on boat during building process
  • Ability to read and write
  • Ability to follow direction and instructions
  • Ability for rapid mental and muscular coordination simultaneously
