Job Description
The Assembler uses hand and power tools to build high-quality products according to drawings and instructions. This role involves following detailed work instructions, performing inspections and tests on completed assemblies, cleaning and lubricating parts, and accurately recording assembly status in a computer system. The position requires strong tape measure skills, basic math ability, and prior experience in assembly, construction, woodworking, or similar building environments.

Work Environment
The role is based in a modern, newly expanded facility built in 2019, featuring a clean, bright, and climate-controlled environment. The production areas are spacious and open, with plenty of room to work and no tight or cramped spaces in departments or work areas. Employees have access to dedicated locker bays and are assigned a personal locker for secure storage of belongings. The facility includes a brand-new kitchen and market area where employees can purchase snacks and lunch items, as well as vending machines for added convenience. All areas of the facility are well-maintained, very clean, and equipped with contemporary fixtures and equipment, providing a comfortable and professional workplace for assembly operations. Typical shifts include first shift from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and second shift from 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hobart, IN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
