Assembly Team Member

We are seeking dependable, detail‑oriented Assembly Team Members to join our production team. In this role, you will perform a variety of window and door assembly tasks from start to finish while ensuring quality and accuracy at every stage of the process. Successful candidates follow production schedules, select appropriate materials, and adhere to established work standards and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform window and door assembly operations from initial build through final assembly
  • Inspect work at each stage of the assembly process to ensure quality standards are met
  • Read and follow production lists, work instructions, and schedules
  • Identify and select correct materials and components for each job
  • Communicate shortages, defects, or quality concerns to team members and supervisors
  • Follow standard work procedures, control plans, and written instructions
  • Safely operate hand and power tools such as drills, screw guns, nail and staple guns, chop saws, routers, sanders, and related equipment
Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma, GED, or HSED
  • Basic reading and math skills
  • Ability to accurately read a tape measure
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds or more, as required
  • Experience using hand and power tools in a production or assembly environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience in assembly, manufacturing, production, or general labor
  • Ability to read blueprints or diagrams
  • Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with construction or assembly techniques

Work Environment & Schedule
  • Manufacturing environment with approximately 600 employees
  • Focus on premium E‑Series window production
  • Two shift options available:
    • 1st Shift: Monday–Thursday, 5:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
    • 2nd Shift: Monday–Thursday, 3:30 p.m. – 2:00 a.m.
  • Occasional Friday work may be required and will be communicated earlier in the week
  • Non‑air‑conditioned environment; steel‑toed shoes required
  • Flexible dress code allowing comfortable work attire such as shorts and T‑shirts
  • Long hair must be secured to meet safety requirements

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dubuque, IA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.20 - $22.20/hr.
