Pay:

  • 1st Shift: $20/hr (Weekly Pay)
  • 2nd Shift: $23–$24/hr (Weekly Pay)
Shift Options
  • 1st Shift: 5:00 AM–1:30 PM or 6:00 AM–2:30 PM
  • 2nd Shift: (hours vary)

Job Description

We are seeking skilled Soldering Associates to support the assembly and inspection of printed circuit boards. This role involves component placement, polarity verification, and precision hand soldering of surface‑mount and through‑hole components while meeting high quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble circuit boards using electronic schematics and work instructions
  • Place components accurately and verify correct polarity before soldering
  • Hand solder SMT and through‑hole components
  • Use microscopes to inspect solder joints for quality, cleanliness, and defects
  • Ensure solder joints meet IPC quality standards (no bridges, cold joints, or contamination)
  • Perform basic circuit board repair and rework as needed

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum 6 months of circuit board soldering experience
  • Strong hand‑soldering skills; must be able to pass a soldering test
  • Knowledge of IPC‑A‑610 and J‑STD standards
  • Experience with electronic assembly and PCB repair
  • Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and understand component polarity
  • Strong attention to detail and quality focus

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Burnsville, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.
