Job Description
This role supports a long-established plastics manufacturer serving the automotive industry by working with injection molding equipment in a clean, modern production facility. You will operate within your own work cell to load and unload parts, perform visual quality checks on finished products, and complete light assembly and trimming of excess materials as needed. This position offers multiple shift options and opportunities to grow into higher-responsibility roles over time.

Work Environment
The role is based in a very clean, modern, and expansive manufacturing facility with a large production floor. The plant houses over 50 presses, including 1,500 to 4,000 ton presses and approximately 20 injection molding presses such as dual profile rotary and two-shot injection presses from major industry brands. The environment includes 60-ton overhead cranes and a structured work-cell setup, where each employee operates within a defined area. The facility emphasizes cleanliness, organization, and adherence to safety procedures around heavy machinery and overhead lifting equipment.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Auburn Hills, MI.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $15.00 - $16.50/hr.
