The Role
We are hiring a Senior Sales Executive to own PGM's full commercial motion. You will qualify inbound leads, run discovery, build proposals, close new business, and stay engaged as the relationship owner for the accounts you bring in.
Our client base spans a range of specialties, with laboratory making up a significant and growing share of our book — and a meaningful share of your pipeline. This is a senior individual contributor seat with real ownership: you run sales end-to-end, from inbound qualification through signed agreement and into the relationship that follows.
About PGM
PGM Billing Solutions is a New Jersey–based medical billing and revenue cycle management company that has served healthcare providers since 1981. We are a 100% onshore operation supporting multi-specialty physician practices, surgical centers, behavioral health groups, and laboratories — with a reputation built on close client relationships, deep operational expertise, and a commitment to doing the work right.
What You'll Do:
Sales
Qualify inbound leads across multi-specialty physician groups, surgical centers, and laboratories
Run discovery calls — understand specialty, volume, current setup, pain points, payer dynamics
Build and present tailored proposals using PGM's pricing and ROI tools, including transition analysis
Manage the full pipeline from first contact through signed agreement
Develop targeted outbound into laboratory and other strategic prospect segments
Partner with leadership on larger or more complex opportunities
Represent PGM accurately and credibly — no overpromising, no scripts that don't fit the buyer
Client Services
Serve as the relationship owner for the accounts you close
Conduct regular check-ins, performance reviews, and issue-resolution calls
Monitor each client's billing performance, AR, denials, and collections at a summary level; escalate to the operations team as needed
Stay close to credentialing status, payer issues, and operational friction points
Coordinate with EHR/PM partners (including Amazing Charts) on client-impacting matters
Identify opportunities to expand or deepen existing relationships
Required Qualifications
3+ years selling RCM, medical billing, or healthcare back-office services with documented quota performance — or 5+ years hands-on medical billing with strong client-facing aptitude and a real desire to step into a revenue-generating seat
Strong working knowledge of medical billing fundamentals: CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS, denials, AR, full revenue cycle workflow
Excellent verbal communication — comfortable with physicians, practice managers, lab directors, and C-level owners
Confident handling pricing conversations and objections
Self-directed pipeline management; able to run a pipeline and a book of accounts simultaneously
Preferred Qualifications
Experience selling into laboratories — clinical, anatomic pathology, molecular, or toxicology
Working knowledge of laboratory billing realities: PAMA, the 14-day rule, Z-codes, LCD/NCD coverage, molecular reimbursement
Familiarity with lab billing platforms (XiFin, Telcor, LigoLab) and major LIS systems
Credentialing experience (CAQH, PECOS, payer enrollments)
CPB, CPC, or similar AAPC/AHIMA certification
Experience with Amazing Charts or comparable EHR/PM systems
Prior experience presenting proposals or running new-client onboarding
What We Offer
Competitive base salary plus uncapped commission on new business
Accelerators on strategic deals
Benefits: medical, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO
Remote, hybrid, or onsite — we will work out the setup that fits, with travel as the role requires
Warm inbound lead flow — you are not cold-dialing all day
Direct access to leadership and short decision cycles
A 40+ year reputation and a 100% onshore team that delivers what you sell
