Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Architectural Project Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in preparing fee proposals, monitoring project budgets, and managing expenses. You will assess deviations from project requirements and prepare necessary revisions to fees and schedules. Your support of the design team through meetings and reviews, both internally and externally, will be vital. You will contribute solutions to complex design and technical challenges throughout the course of the project.

Responsibilities

• Prepare fee proposals and monitor expenses to manage project budgets effectively.
• Assess deviations from project requirements and prepare revisions to fees and schedules.
• Support the design team through meetings and reviews, both internally and externally.
• Contribute solutions to complex design and technical challenges across the course of the project.
• Collaborate with project consultants to coordinate technical requirements while preserving the design intent.
• Work closely with the project team to develop and submit all design documents.
• Support the preparation of design documents at each project stage.
• Review design documents at each project stage to ensure adherence to the design intent and contractual obligations.
• Support the client and design teams by contracting and/or onboarding key consultants.
• Facilitate communication and alignment within the project team, as well as between the project and client teams.
• Travel to project sites to coordinate with local consultant and client teams.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in Revit
• Experience in design, architecture, and project management
• Expertise in construction administration
• Registered architect

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture
• 10+ years of experience in the field and 3+ years as a Project Manager
• Experience with a variety of projects, including those that have been built
• Experience with international projects

Work Environment

You will work onsite five days a week in a design-centric firm. Many projects are international, and experience with such projects is highly beneficial.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Somerville, MA.

The pay range for this position is $52.00 - $72.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Somerville,MA.
