Architectural Project Manager
We are currently seeking a high caliber Architectural Project Manager for a long-term basis within our client’s team of experienced professionals. Based in Davis, CA.
Our client is looking for someone with experience in Multi-Family Housing to support the planning and delivery of market-rate, affordable, and mixed-use residential developments throughout California. The ideal candidate brings strong experience navigating entitlements, consultant coordination, and construction documentation , along with proficiency in Revit-based workflows .
This role serves as a key liaison between clients, consultants, and internal teams from concept through construction administration.
Job Requirements
Manage Multi-Family Housing projects from schematic design through construction administration
Coordinate entitlement approvals with planning departments and local jurisdictions
Lead consultant coordination (structural, MEP, civil, landscape, and specialty disciplines)
Monitor project schedules, scope alignment, and fee utilization
Support preparation and coordination of Revit-based construction documentation
Ensure compliance with California Building Code, accessibility requirements, and Title 24
Facilitate coordination with developers, agencies, and stakeholders
Participate in planning submissions, design review boards, and jurisdictional meetings
Support bidding and construction phase services including RFIs and submittals
Assist Principals with staffing coordination and milestone tracking
Mentor Job Captains and junior staff
Qualifications:
Architectural experience with Multi-Family Housing project leadership
Experience navigating entitlement and jurisdictional approval processes
Working knowledge of Type III, Type V, podium, or wrap construction preferred
Strong understanding of California Building Code and accessibility requirements
Proficiency in Revit required
Experience coordinating multi-disciplinary consultant teams
Strong communication and organizational skills
California Architectural License or progress toward licensure
Experience with affordable housing or mixed-use developments
Familiarity with CEQA coordination processes
Experience supporting planning commission or community presentations
