Resumes will not be reviewed. All details should be entered on the application.AQUATICS FACILITIES TEAM MEMBER- Provide light janitorial and pool maintenance services at Splash Montana, Currents, and the 4 spray decks maintained by the Aquatics Facilities program.
- Operate small electric power washers to remove food stains from the pool decks.
- Utilize small battery powered leaf blowers to keep the pool decks free of debris and tree fall.
- Collect and empty trash bins.
- Remove and skim leaves and debris from the pools, using pole net.
- Sanitize and wipe down furniture and other pool equipment, using a water/sanitizer mixture.
- Perform other duties as assigned, based on training and qualifications.
AQUATICS FACILITIES TEAM LEADER- Perform the duties of the Aquatics Facilities Team Member position
- Organize and maintain the equipment used by the Aquatics Facilities Team to ensure ease of use.
- Trim bushes and ground level tree obstructions.
- Wash/hose down locker room floors and clean locker room fixtures.
- Provide leadership for Aquatics Facilities Team Members to ensure daily work tasks are completed and documented.
- Lock/Unlock facilities, as needed, to provide team access for accomplishing assigned work tasks.
- Perform other duties as assigned, based on training and qualifications.
AQUATICS FACILITIES TEAM ORGANIZER- Serve as shift lead for Aquatics Facilities Team Members.
- Assist with training Aquatics Facilities Team Members on regular maintenance tasks.
- Work closely with Manager and other Aquatics Staff to identify facility maintenance needs.
- Maintain work task records; monitor equipment and facilities to ensure proper functionality.
- Promote healthy team approach to tasks; develop knowledge and motivation to ensure team members perform regular tasks accurately and efficiently.
- Perform regular water quality tests and record readings, per facility standards.
- Perform minor repairs on equipment, such as: automatic pool vacuums, brush and net poles, battery operated faucets, etc.
- Assist with maintaining healthy team relationships with Guard, Cashier and Concessions staff.
- Perform other duties as assigned, based on training and qualifications.
- Knowledge of, or the ability to learn, principles and practices of aquatic facility and equipment maintenance and care.
- Knowledge of, or the ability to learn, pool water chemistry and water quality procedures and regulations.
- Knowledge of, and ability to promote, department safety considerations, City safety policies, OSHA standards and guidelines, and the Americans for Disabilities Act.
- Skill in following oral and written instructions.
- Skill in multitasking in a fast-paced environment, while providing effective customer service.

Working Conditions:ALL POSITIONS- Positions require the ability to lift 25 lbs. or less.
- Duties are frequently performed under conditions where noise, heat, dampness or cold are unavoidable.
- Work environment may involve occasional exposure to uneven and steep terrain, unavoidable weather conditions, occupational hazards, biohazards, and physical risks, which require following basic safety precautions.
AQUATICS FACILITIES TEAM ORGANIZER- Duties may include transporting team members to remote sites (spray decks) to perform maintenance and care.
ALL POSITIONS- Any combination of training and experience in labor, landscaping, facility maintenance or another relevant field.
- Must be of legal age to perform the duties of the position.
AQUATIC FACILITIES TEAM ORGANIZER- Must have a valid Montana Driver’s license with a verified acceptable driving record, or the ability to obtain within 60 days of hire (Valid out-of-state driver’s license accepted for students who are temporary residents of Missoula).
