Pride Health is looking Application Analyst (Epic Inpatient) to support our client’s medical facility which is Tulsa, OK


Job Type: Application Analyst (Epic Inpatient)

Duration: 6 months with likely extensions

Location:: Tulsa, OK (Ability to travel for Epic training and to remote work sites as needed)

Rate: $80 to $85/hr on W2

Job Summary

The Application Analyst is responsible for the design, build, testing, validation, and ongoing support of assigned applications. This role works closely with cross-functional teams to enhance system functionality, improve workflows, and ensure optimal application performance.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of functional workflows and supporting software systems.
  • Participate in future-state workflow analysis and system design to support business needs.
  • Configure, build, test, and implement application enhancements and new workflows.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, vendors, and stakeholders to deliver effective solutions.
  • Analyze complex issues and provide solution options, including alternatives when system limitations exist.
  • Identify opportunities for system optimization and continuous improvement.
  • Provide Tier-2 support for application-related incidents and troubleshoot issues.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date system documentation.
  • Implement changes in compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
  • Ensure high-quality customer service in all interactions.


Decision Making & Work Environment

  • Exercises independent judgment with general oversight in final stages.
  • Coordinates and guides team activities without direct supervisory responsibilities.
  • Interacts with internal and external customers, including healthcare professionals and leadership.
  • Works closely with Director-level stakeholders and above.


Special Requirements

  • Ability to travel for Epic training and to remote work sites as needed.


Required Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 1 year of related experience.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Epic certification in assigned module(s).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.


Preferred Skills

  • Clinical Case Management
  • Epic Implementation experience
  • Stork module experience


Education

  • Required: High School Diploma or GED
