Qualifications:
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Detail oriented with good organizational skills
• Knowledge of a variety of analytical biochemistry techniques (i.e., HPLC, qPCR, ELISA, CE-SDS, iCIEF, UV, MS, Cell based assays) is preferred
• B.S./M.S./or Ph.D. in Biology, Chemistry, Biotechnology or equivalent area of related study with 0-5 yrs. relevant experience
Responsibilities:
• This is a temporary position that will be filled for 8 months, but could be extended longer based on employee’s performance
• Perform routine laboratory tasks including reagent preparation, sample management, instrument maintenance, inventory/ordering of supplies, general housekeeping, and other duties as assigned
• Perform non-GMP analytical testing of study samples to support upstream and downstream process development studies
• Document experimental data and results, perform data verification, prepare protocols and final reports
• Support analytical initiatives including method development, qualification, and technical transfer of methods to the Quality Control laboratory
• Collaborate with cross functional teams and assist with troubleshooting
• Occasional night and weekend hours may be required
