Senior Aircraft Technician (Business Jet MRO)

JetRx is seeking an experienced Senior Aircraft Technician to join our growing MRO team at our Opa-Locka facility in South Florida. This is a hands-on opportunity to work with business jet aircraft in a fast-paced maintenance environment supporting private, charter, and corporate aviation operations.

Based at the heart of South Florida aviation, Opa-locka is a major hub for business aviation activity, and JetRx plays a key role in keeping aircraft moving safely and efficiently through it.

At JetRx, we specialize in responsive aircraft maintenance, including AOG support, scheduled inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, and complex system diagnostics. Our focus is simple: precision maintenance, rapid turnaround, and uncompromising safety.

What You’ll Do

• Perform inspections, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs on business jet aircraft
• Support scheduled maintenance and AOG (Aircraft on Ground) recovery events
• Diagnose and resolve airframe, engine, and avionics system issues
• Ensure all work complies with FAA regulations and OEM standards
• Complete accurate maintenance logs and documentation
• Work closely with DOMs, pilots, and operations teams
• Support and mentor junior technicians when needed
• Help maintain a safety-first, high-performance maintenance culture

What We’re Looking For

• FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License (required)
• Strong experience in business jet MRO environments
• 5+ years of hands-on aircraft maintenance experience
• Experience with Gulfstream, Bombardier, Citation, Embraer, or similar aircraft (preferred)
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Solid understanding of FAA regulations and maintenance documentation
• Ability to perform in fast-paced, time-sensitive AOG situations
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities

Nice to Have

• Inspection Authorization (IA)
• Experience in mobile or field maintenance operations
• Background in corporate, charter, or high-utilization aviation environments
• Prior experience supporting rapid-response AOG teams
