Aircraft Maintenance Technician (A&P) –


Aircraft Maintenance Technician required to work for a leading aviation maintenance and MRO services company.


This is an excellent opportunity based in Miami, FL to join an established commercial aviation maintenance company, whilst being rewarded with a competitive package and opportunities for overtime and career development.


Responsibilities


The successful candidate will work as an Aircraft Maintenance Technician (A&P), performing various tasks including:


  • Performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, repairs, and modifications on commercial aircraft
  • Troubleshooting mechanical, structural, and systems-related issues
  • Carrying out maintenance in accordance with FAA regulations, manufacturer manuals, and approved maintenance programs
  • Completing assigned tasks using approved data, technical documentation, and task cards
  • Ensuring all work meets airworthiness and quality standards
  • Accurately recording maintenance activities in required documentation systems
  • Supporting inspections and preparing aircraft for return to service
  • Maintaining compliance with all safety procedures and regulatory requirements
  • Working collaboratively within a team environment while also being capable of working independently


Mandatory Requirements


  • FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License
  • Minimum 5 years of commercial aircraft maintenance experience
  • Strong knowledge of FAA regulations and compliance standards
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and task cards
  • Experience working in a Part 121, 135, or 145 environment
  • Ability to work shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Ability to work at heights, on ladders or stands, and in confined spaces
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills


Desirable Requirements


  • Experience within heavy maintenance or MRO environments
  • Experience with narrow body or wide body commercial aircraft
  • Additional type ratings or certifications
  • Previous experience working in a fast-paced operational environment
