This position offers a unique opportunity to lead a dynamic and expanding team of APPs in one of the nation’s top academic health systems. As the APP team grows, the leadership portion of the role will expand, allowing the APP Manager to shape advanced practice integration, innovation, and excellence in the Emergency Department.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education: Master’s or Doctorate in Nursing (Nurse Practitioner, Clinical Nurse Specialist, Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist and Certified Nurse Midwife); Master’s or Doctorate in Science (Physician Assistant or Radiologist Assistant)
Experience: 5 years as a Nurse Practitioner, Clinical Nurse Specialist, Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist, Certified Nurse Midwife, Radiologist Assistant or Physician Assistant
Licensure: Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia and licensed to practice as a Nurse Practitioner, Clinical Nurse Specialist, Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist or Certified Nurse Midwife in the Commonwealth of Virginia, or licensed to practice as a Physician Assistant in the Commonwealth of Virginia or licensed to practice as a Radiologist Assistant in the Commonwealth of Virginia. American Heart Association (AHA) Health Care Provider BLS certification. American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), or Neonatal Advanced Life Support (NALS) required for selected clinical practice settings. Other certifications may be required to be obtained after hire depending on the clinical setting
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Job requires standing for prolonged periods, frequently walking/bending/stooping. Proficient communicative, auditory and visual skills; Attention to detail and ability to write legibly; Ability to lift/push/pull 20 - 50lbs. May be exposed to chemicals, blood/body fluids and infectious disease.
The starting base rate for this role is $115,793.60 annually. Individual compensation will be determined by the selected candidate's qualifications, previous work experience, and/or education.Job Profile
