Advanced Mechanical Engineer to work in
McLeansville, NC. This is a
Long term contract position,

Pay: $55 to $67.85/hr. D.O.E. Must be able to get a Secret Clearance!ADVANCED MECHANICAL ENGINEERAs a Mechanical Engineer for GeoLogics you'll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for thermal and structural analysis of complex components used in undersea hardware. Collaboration with design engineering and manufacturing.We encourage you to apply if you have any of these preferred skills or experiences: ANSYS; thermal analysis; 3-D modeling capability.
What sets you apart:- Strong Analysis background including structural analysis and thermal analysis. Strong experience with ANSYS and MATLAB required.
- Strong proficiency with modeling CAD tools to create mechanical models and drawings
- Extensive knowledge of manufacturing and fabrication methods, as well as technical, government, and industry standards
- Collaborative, creative thinker with experience leading complex projects
- Strong communication skills with ability to write technical papers and proposals
- Commitment to ongoing professional development for yourself and others
