Admitting/Receptionist: Full Time

Cascade Medical, located in beautiful downtown Leavenworth in the Cascade foothills of Central Washington, has an opening for a full time Admitting Clerk/Front Desk Receptionist.

Work Schedule: The anticipated schedule for this position will be Wednesday-Friday from 6:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. and Saturday from 7:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.

Duties:

  • Serve as Receptionist for our facility. Answer and route calls for all hospital departments.
  • Register patients accurately. Maintain all admitting information at 95% accuracy.
  • Perform data entry for patient account set up. Process billing paperwork for outpatient departments, including the Emergency Department.
  • Process both incoming and outgoing mail.
  • Process daily deposits. Receive payments and maintain cash drawer.
  • Process primary and secondary bills.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all patient and employee information to ensure patient and employee rights are protected in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  1. High school diploma required.
  2. Previous admitting/receptionist experience in a similar setting is strongly preferred.
  3. Prior customer experience and interacting with the public is required.
  4. Must be able to accurately balance daily deposits - math aptitude required.
  5. Must be able to organize, multi-task, and prioritize daily work tasks.
  6. Must possess proficient computer skills.
  7. Must possess interpersonal skills that align with CM's Shared Values.

As a public entity, our wage range is set on a 30-step scale (Base-30 years of experience). Offer letters and wage determination will be written based on years of experience.
