Full-Time | Direct Hire | $55-65,000 annually


LHH Recruitment Solutions is working with a well‑established professional services firm in downtown Kansas City who is seeking a highly capable Administrative Assistant who brings a modern, tech‑savvy mindset to the role. This position goes beyond traditional administrative support — the right person will act as a trusted partner to leadership, helping bridge operational, technical, and process gaps while keeping day‑to‑day business running smoothly.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to senior leadership, including calendar management, meeting coordination, document preparation, and correspondence
  • Serve as a key liaison between leadership, internal teams, clients, and external partners
  • Prepare polished presentations, reports, and internal/external communications
  • Manage office operations, processes, and documentation with a strong focus on organization and efficiency
  • Leverage technology and digital tools to streamline workflows and improve productivity
  • Support leadership with research, analysis, and tech‑enabled solutions to help close knowledge gaps
  • Assist with special projects and initiatives that require critical thinking, discretion, and follow‑through


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2+ years of experience in administrative, operations, or office management roles within professional services, consulting, legal, accounting, or similar environments
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Exposure to CRM systems, digital tools, or workflow platforms
  • Comfort supporting marketing, communications, or internal initiatives as needed
  • Strong technical aptitude with comfort learning and using new systems, platforms, and tools
  • Familiarity with AI concepts, tools, and terminology (hands‑on experience preferred, not required)
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and/or Google Workspace
  • Ability to think proactively, problem‑solve, and anticipate leadership needs
  • High level of professionalism, attention to detail, and strong written/verbal communication skills
  • Experience supporting executives or leadership teams in a fast‑paced, professional environment
  • Someone who enjoys being a thought partner, not just task support
