Position OverviewThe Illinois Department of Public Health is seeking a highly motivated individual to perform highly confidential, administrative staff functions requiring judgment relating to the preparation and handling of legal documents. Serves as liaison between Springfield and Chicago Legal personnel relative to exchange of information which is required to be retained by the Director’s Office and the division of Legal Services. Assists in conducting studies of administrative operations and recommends changes to improve efficiency of operations. Composes technical and legal correspondence for signature of General Counsel, other senior attorneys, and Director. Performs special research assignments.
