Position: Assistant Property Manager and Administrative Assistant

Location: Ridgewood, NY


Type: Full-Time


Key Responsibilities:

  • First point of contact for residential and commercial tenants, build and maintain positive relationships with tenants, addressing their needs and concerns with empathy and professionalism, managing lease agreements, and ensuring a high level of tenant satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and leasing brokers for maintenance, repairs, and leasing activities.
  • Implement and utilize rental management software (e.g., Yardi) for efficient property management.
  • Conduct regular property inspections and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Occasional work outside of standard business hours may be required.
  • Represent ownership in court hearings if necessary.
  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the executive team.
  • Manage and coordinate the executive's schedule, including meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and correspondence on behalf of the executive.
  • Act as a liaison between the executive and internal departments as well as external contacts.


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in an assistant or customer service role, or in the real estate industry
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of effectively interacting with tenants, vendors, and professionals.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.

  • Highly developed social skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a diverse range of individuals, while abiding by strict confidentiality requirements.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative work style.
  • Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software. Proficiency in Illustrator, Photoshop and or AutoCAD a plus.


What We Offer:

  • $50,000 to $85,000 per year.
