We are searching for an organized and driven Administrative Assistant to join an accounting firm onsite in Albany, NY. Their core services to clients include income tax preparation and compliance, accounting and review services, auditing including not-for-profits, QuickBooks consulting services and bookkeeping, personal financial planning, and a breadth of business consultation services.
In this role, the Administrative Assistant for the Accounting Firm will:
- Provide secretarial, administrative & clerical support to Staff and Partners.
- Be able to multi-task and have excellent communication & time management skills.
- Answer, screen, and transfer telephone calls.
- Greet and welcome clients and other visitors.
- Perform administrative duties such as filing, typing, binding, scanning, collating, copying client documents.
- Need to be trustworthy to handle sensitive client information in a confidential matter.
- Exhibit polite and professional communication via phone, e-mail, and mail.
- Utilize several software programs for client storage, tax return electronic delivery, and workflow management.
- Have strong work ethic, be adaptable, punctual, and professional.

Education and Experience Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent education required
- 3 years of administrative assistant experience (experience in accounting industry preferred)
- Knowledge of appropriate software including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint along with Adobe Acrobat
Hourly rate range: $27.00 - $29.00
