Teach and assess student-learning outcomes in Associate Degree Nursing courses. In collaboration with colleagues, responsible for ongoing curriculum evaluation and improvement within the context of LCCC's general education objectives and articulation requirements. Facilitate student learning outside of the classroom through participation in student activities, college, and community events.

  • Provide instruction for Associate Degree Nursing Programs in lab and clinical courses.
  • Supervise and coordinate student learning experiences at clinical sites.
  • Serve as a liaison between the nursing program and the clinical sites.
  • Assist students in student activities and provide leadership opportunities for the students.
  • Master of Science Degree in Nursing from an accredited college/university required.
  • Registered Professional Nurse licensed in Illinois and Missouri OR possess such licenses prior to the start date for this position.
  • Minimum of two years of professional experience as a registered nurse and a strong medical-surgical clinical background preferred.
  • Demonstrated commitment to the mission of the community college required.

For Academic Year 2025-2026, the pay rate for adjunct faculty is $838 per lecture-equivalent hour.
