St. Edward's University, a nationally ranked, independent Catholic university and Hispanic Serving Institution (HSI), invites applications for an adjunct position in the Department of Nursing, beginning May 2026.

The successful candidate will instruct nursing courses on campus, virtually, and participate in various laboratory/simulation/classroom experiences as coordinated by the lead course faculty. As appropriate to individual contracts, clinical faculty will be expected to be involved in service to the university, the community, and the profession.

QUALIFICATIONS
The candidate must have at least five (3) years of nursing experience as an RN. Preferred experience will be in an Adult Med-surgical. Hold a current, unencumbered RN license to practice nursing in the state of Texas. Graduate degree in nursing or a related area to teach in the BSN degree programs. Three (1) years of academic preparation and teaching experience in nursing education preferred. Teaching experience in online and in-person formats. Experience in electronic health records and online meeting systems.
Essential Responsibilities Include: Candidates should have an interest in and the ability or potential to teach undergraduate BSN courses, as well as support a diverse student body.
