We’re partnering with a well-established organization to hire several accounting professionals across key finance functions. These roles sit within a structured, high-volume environment and are ideal for candidates with prior experience in law firms or professional services.
Openings span accounts payable, treasury, and trust/escrow accounting, with opportunities at both coordinator and managerial levels.
What you’ll be doing
Depending on level and team alignment, responsibilities may include:
• Process accounts payable transactions including vendor invoices, expense reimbursements, and client-related costs
• Support trust/escrow accounting, including recording deposits, processing disbursements, and maintaining compliance with internal controls
• Assist with bank reconciliations, cash activity, and account maintenance across multiple accounts
• Coordinate wire transfers, ACH payments, and online banking activity
• Maintain accurate financial records within accounting systems (e.g., 3E, Elite, Aderant or similar)
• Partner with internal stakeholders (legal teams, accounting, operations) and external vendors to resolve discrepancies
• Support audit processes and regulatory filings including 1099s and unclaimed property
• Monitor account activity and proactively identify and resolve discrepancies
• Assist with ongoing process improvements and special projects
For more experienced candidates, additional responsibilities may include:
• Overseeing accounts payable workflows and ensuring adherence to firm policies and procedures
• Managing vendor relationships and payment processes end-to-end
• Supervising or mentoring junior staff
• Partnering with leadership on reporting, controls, and operational improvements
What we’re looking for
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred
• Experience within a law firm or professional services environment strongly preferred
• Hands-on experience with trust/escrow accounting, client funds, or high-volume AP workflows is a plus
• Familiarity with legal accounting systems such as 3E, Elite, Aderant, or similar platforms
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
• Experience with reconciliations, financial reporting support, and transactional accounting
• Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
• High level of professionalism and discretion when handling sensitive financial information
