Job Summary
�
The Accounting Manager reports to the Director of Finance and shares responsibility for all areas relating to financial reporting. This position includes general ledger preparation, financial reporting, support on month-end close procedures, support on SOX compliance, support with budgeting and forecasting.

This role is on-site and is based at our Mundelein, IL corporate office.

Job Responsibilities
�
Maintain a thorough understanding of the financial reporting and general ledger structure
Perform and ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end closings
Track and maintain fixed asset and leasing schedules
Oversee lease tracking and ensure accurate lease accounting
Ensure balance sheet reconciliations and monthly reporting are completed accurately and timely
Collaborate with Site Managers, Finance Director and Sales VP to accomplish business goals for a growing company in a booming industry
Manages Staff accountant, providing training and development where necessary
Aids business with costing accounting processes
Other duties and responsibilities related to the nature of the job may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed.

Job Responsibilities
�
Bachelor's degree in accounting with a minimum of 5 years of experience in general accounting/finance areas/cost accounting, including but not limited to budgets, legal compliance, P&L, SFAS Rules in a manufacturing environment
Manufacturing accounting experience a plus
Competent in standard cost accounting/manufacturing
Excellent interpersonal skills: the ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with employees and managers
Accounting/Finance degree preferred - CPA or CPA candidate
Proficient in MS Office – especially Excel
Strong organizational, analysis, problem-solving, and critical reasoning skills
Ability to take the initiative and work independently

Compensation

The base salary is $110,000-$130,000 plus an annual bonus
