Accounting Manager

The Opportunity
An established, growth-oriented organization is hiring an Accounting Manager to lead day-to-day accounting operations, develop a strong team, and improve the processes supporting a complex business.
This role is well suited for a hands-on accounting leader who enjoys balancing technical accounting ownership with process improvement. You will have the opportunity to strengthen the close process, improve reporting accuracy, drive efficiencies, and help shape how the accounting function operates as the company continues to grow.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the monthly and annual close processes
- Ensure accurate financial reporting in accordance with US GAAP
- Manage, mentor, and develop accounting team members
- Strengthen internal controls, documentation standards, and accounting procedures
- Support audit requests and accounting compliance initiatives
- Identify opportunities to improve workflows, automate manual processes, and increase close efficiency
- Assist with ERP enhancements, system upgrades, and reporting improvements
- Partner cross-functionally with finance and operational leaders
Qualifications
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Strong understanding of US GAAP
- Hands-on ownership of month-end close
- Experience managing or mentoring accounting staff
- Experience working within a major ERP environment, such as D365, NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle
