Position: Accounting Intern

At CME Wire & Cable, we are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Intern who is ready to gain hands-on experience and learn how accounting supports real business operations.
This is a great opportunity to work closely with our CFO, Controller, and accounting team while contributing to meaningful projects that impact the organization. This is not a typical internship. You will be actively involved in day-to-day accounting activities, reporting, and process organization while gaining exposure to how financial decisions are made within a growing company.
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Assist the CFO, Controller, and Cash Management Leader with daily tasks and special projects
• Support accounting leadership with reporting, data organization, and general administrative tasks
• Assist with day-to-day accounting functions and financial processes
• Help organize, document, and improve accounting procedures
• Prepare basic reports, Excel spreadsheets, and reconciliations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial data accuracy
• Provide support on additional projects and tasks as needed

Skills and Qualifications
