Accounting Clerk

A well-established professional services firm is looking to add an Accounting Clerk to their team in Reading, PA. This is a great opportunity to step into a structured, fast-paced environment where you can make an immediate impact and gain exposure to a highly collaborative accounting team.


Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (100% onsite)


What you’ll be doing:

  • Process and post client payments accurately based on remittance details
  • Review and verify invoices prior to payment
  • Support vendor payments and assist with check runs
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
  • Process employee expense reimbursements and corporate card expenses
  • Maintain and update vendor records
  • Assist with general accounting operations and ad hoc projects


What they’re looking for:

  • 1–3 years of accounting, AP/AR, or related experience
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office
  • Prior experience in a professional services environment is highly preferred
