Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk with experience in the Food & Beverage industry to support our finance department. This role focuses primarily on accounts payable and administrative accounting tasks across multiple restaurant locations.
The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a high-volume environment, understands restaurant vendor structures, and has general accounting experience with hospitality accounting systems such as Restaurant365 (preferred).
Key Responsibilities
Accounts Payable – Including but not limited to:
· Process and code vendor invoices in Craftable and Restaurant365
· Ensure invoices are coded to correct GL accounts, locations, and departments
· Review vendor statements for accuracy
· Assist in vendor set up and maintain vendor records, including W-9s and payment details
· Communicate with vendors regarding invoice discrepancies or missing documentation
Accounting Support – Including but not limited to:
· Assist with credit card receipt collection and reconciliation
· Support the accounting team with data entry and transactional accounting tasks
· Post daily sales entries
· Assist in daily bank reconciliations
· Process credit card chargebacks
· Journal Entries to record cover counts and sales for other revenue centers/day parts
· Assist in intercompany AP and AR postings
Qualifications
Required
· 2+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience
· Must have experience in the Food & Beverage / Hospitality industry
· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
· Comfortable working with high transaction volumes
· Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets
Preferred
· Experience with Restaurant365
· Experience with AP automation or invoice management systems
· Experience supporting multi-location restaurant operations
