Bridgewater Colleges Nolen School of Business & Professional Studies invites applications for a full-time 9-month tenure-track assistant professor or non-tenure track practitioner in residence of Business Administration focused on accounting and finance beginning August 17, 2026.

Were seeking someone with strong accounting and/or financial expertise who can bring real-world insight into the classroom and help prepare students for careers in these fields.

WHAT YOULL DO:

  • Teach undergraduate courses in accounting and finance as your primary focus
  • Incorporate real-world financial and accounting applications into teaching
  • Advise and mentor students pursuing careers in accounting, finance, and related fields
  • Support program development and continuous improvement in accounting and finance curriculum
  • Contribute to departmental service and student recruitment
  • (Tenure-track only) Maintain scholarship in a relevant discipline

WHAT YOU BRING:

  • MBA or masters in accounting, finance, or a closely related field
  • D. in a closely related field or Doctor of Business Administration D.B.A. (required for Assistant Professor)
  • Professional experience in accounting, finance, or a directly related area (required)
  • Ability to teach and communicate core accounting and finance concepts effectively
  • Interest in working in a student-centered, teaching-focused environment

ENHANCED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Certified Public Accountant - CPA
  • Prior experience teaching accounting and/or finance courses
