Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented Temporary Accountant to support our team and help alleviate an increased workload. This role is ideal for someone who can step in quickly, contribute with minimal ramp-up time, and bring strong accounting fundamentals to a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with day-to-day accounting operations, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance
• Support month-end and quarter-end close processes
• Maintain and analyze standard costing, including reviewing variances and assisting with cost updates
• Work with and review Bills of Materials (BOMs) to ensure accuracy and alignment with costing and inventory
• Analyze financial data and ensure accuracy and completeness of records
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies and improve processes
• Provide ad hoc reporting and support as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Exposure to cost accounting is a strong plus
• Experience working with SAP is preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Ability to work independently and quickly integrate into an existing team
