Description
This Accountant role supports field offices across the country and focuses on day‑to‑day transactional accounting activities. The position is heavily hands‑on and includes working in JD Edwards to process vouchers, enter journal entries, manage commissions, and complete monthly period‑end close reconciliations.
The Accountant will also assist with payroll processing, 1099 reporting, training new contractors, maintaining relationships with assigned offices, and supporting office‑specific accounting projects. This is a team‑based environment with a group of accountants handling Accounts Payable, commission processing, and period close activities.
Candidates must be able to commit to the role for at least one year. Training is extensive and typically lasts two months or more. There may be opportunities for longer‑term or employee transition depending on performance and business needs. This is remote but will need to commit to on site work after being hired on for 3 days per week.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Milwaukee, WI.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
