General Summary. The Account Manager will interface with current and prospective customers and will be an integral component of Angstrom’s commitment to increasing customer satisfaction and focus. The primary objective is to coordinate the overall sales and commercial activities for assigned accounts in addition to exploiting the application of Angstrom’s wide range of manufacturing capabilities. This shall include new and current business, pricing, tooling, capital recovery programs, long-term sourcing and productivity agreements, financial reconciliation, and continuous improvement activities. Develop an overall strategic approach to win new business opportunities. This includes the development of pricing strategies that further encourage customers to take advantage of Angstrom’s vertical integration and high-quality
product offerings. Manage the process of quotations, IRFQs, Sales Orders, Change Notices, continuous improvement and product life cycle. Support new product launches, monitor overall customer requirements, and identify issues that may affect customer satisfaction and revenue attainment.
Work Responsibilities
- Aggressively pursue and develop new business opportunities for current and new products through frequent contact with all areas of customer purchasing, product and advanced engineering.
- Develop new business contacts and build and maintain trust-based relationships throughout the sales and product life cycle by continuously demonstrating a commitment to providing exemplary customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with Engineering to identify and create winning sales strategies and new product opportunities.
- Grow Angstrom’s business consistently with strategies regarding sales, profitability, and product diversification.
- Develop and maintain in-depth technical knowledge of Angstrom products in order to articulate technology and manufacturing capabilities.
- Recommend and coordinate pricing strategies for new contracts, new products, and price recoveries from customers.
- Regularly visit customers to develop excellent relationships with key contacts.
- Develop creative approaches and conduct extensive analysis, planning, and organization to eliminate sales obstacles and achieve target objectives. Act and resolve customer issues promptly and professionally.
- Interface with Angstrom’s internal Engineering and Operations teams to provide a clear understanding of the customer’s needs and technical requirements.
- Manage, coordinate, and monitor all customer activities with a focus on speed, responsiveness, and a commitment to excellence.
- Work closely with V.P. of Sales and Engineering to formulate strategies for review and presentation.

Requirements and Qualifications.
- A minimum of 4-5 years of experience in the automotive industry i.e., sales, program management, or engineering management (Required)
- 4-5 years of Automotive Account Management (Required)
- Working knowledge of relevant cost models and supplier costs, including manufacturing processes, material costs, and material processing.
- Knowledge of the global customer, product, and supply base for Structures.
- Ability to apply sales and marketing techniques in the generation of new business opportunities. Strong communication skills; verbal, written, and technical presentations.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to successfully coordinate and complete multiple tasks within and across departments to meet established and changing deadlines.
- Demonstrated successful performance with independent problem solving, presentations, leadership, and coordinating and completing multiple tasks within and across departments to meet changing deadlines on the full program life cycle (concept to production).
- Proficient with word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications.
- Valid driver’s license
