The Account Manager, Float provides full coverage of Account Manager (AM) responsibilities during absences as assigned. This role is responsible for remotely building, maintaining, and expanding strong relationships with: C-suite level (CEO’s, CFO’s, COO’s), Student Groups and other influencers/decision-makers in strategically important large, accounts within assigned geography. Accounts include, but are not limited to colleges, universities and technical or vocational schools; network partners; community-based organizations and coalitions; corporations and Service sectors (such as police and fire academies and units) within a defined geography.

Performance expectations:

1.Develops and executes strategies that will create access to students, employees and key contacts within targeted accounts.

2.Executes persuasive presentations and drives focused on the member value proposition to recruit targeted audiences to the registry.

3.Account Manager, Float develops collaborative partnerships with both internal and external stakeholders, leading without authority to drive alignment and coordination across the member recruitment teams.

4.Effective communication requires marketplace intelligence, evaluation of partners’ business needs and perspective on changing dynamics within the geography. Provides sound business recommendations and demonstrate a keen ability to prioritize and execute on current and future opportunities.

5.Demonstrates knowledge of Cell Therapy landscape to include pathways/guidelines. Ability to articulate how partnership is important to the donor and patients we serve.

6.Account Manager, Float will demonstrate focused and comprehensive strategic account planning skills. Account Manager, Float will develop effective business plans to enhance ethnically diverse

7.Monitors and tracks performance of existing initiatives and adjusts accordingly based on sound business decisions.

8.Other duties as assigned.

What has made someone really successful?

Experience 3-5 years within Account Management

Experience in all levels of Account Management. 30, 60, 90 days planning. Needing to be able to plan in advance and seeing the business in front of you.

The AM is the one booking the business, not putting on the event. Needs to move and motivate the local team and put correctly into Salesforce for those that are putting on the event. Influence without authority.

Other skills

Presentation skills and technology skills are important

Consistent communication and charisma

Being able to talk to anyone, AND being able to close the deal- be able to showcase that.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.
