Access Control Technician

Job Title: Access Control Technician (Low Voltage Security – Service & Installation)

Location: South Florida Territory

Salary: Up to $80,000+ annually

Our client is a company who delivers customized security and systems integration solutions across a wide range of different industries.

They are seeking an experienced Access Control Technician to support service and installation work across South Florida. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional who can work independently and manage both fieldwork and remote system programming.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, service, and troubleshoot access control systems
• Program and manage systems remotely as needed
• Perform low voltage security system installations and maintenance
• Travel throughout South Florida (south of Tampa/Orlando) with occasional travel outside the region for project support
• Ensure projects are completed efficiently and meet quality standards

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in access control and low voltage systems
• Strong working knowledge of access control platforms such as Lenel, Hirsch, Genetec, Avigilon, or Brivo
• Basic networking knowledge (IP-based systems, connectivity, troubleshooting)
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

• Valid Drivers License (Company truck provided)
