Reporting Authority: Director of Institutional ResearchGeneral Function: The Academic Assessment and Accreditation Specialist will perform duties that are related to planning and evaluation, institutional effectiveness, accreditation, academic program review, quality enhancement plan assessment, and learning outcomes assessment.

•Experience in various methods of student data collection.
•The ability to work with numerical data (statistical analysis).
•Ability to collect documentation related to the development, implementation, and assessment of the Quality Enhancement Plan of the College.
•Direct assessment-related activities consistent with the institution's mission, vision, and continuous improvement process.
•Collect and maintain institution-wide assessment data (key assessments, survey results, student learning outcomes, etc.)
•Analyze and interpret data for informed decision-making to drive program improvement.
•Document and communicate assessment results to faculty, staff, and other internal and external stakeholders to report program and institution-wide strengths, challenges, trends, and opportunities.
•Assist in the process for institutional and specialized program accreditations by working collaboratively with faculty and staff to ensure program quality and compliance.
•Serve as a member of the Institutional Effectiveness and General Education Core Competency Assessment Committees.
•Execute duties related to creating a sustainable assessment culture within the institution.
•Help administer survey instruments and prepare reports as needed for institutional surveys.
•Design and conduct training sessions to enhance understanding of learning outcomes assessment.
•Conduct annual academic program reviews to assess effectiveness.
•Participate in professional development related to all tasks.
•Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Institutional Research, Vice President of Instructional Services, and/or the President.
Salary: ACCS Salary Schedule- C3 -Rank 2Continued employment is contingent upon funding from the grant. This position is on a non-tenured track.Minimum Qualifications:•Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
•Three (3) years of experience at the postsecondary level in a position that includes assessment, evaluation, and data collection.
•Two (2) years of experience at the postsecondary level working with accrediting bodies.
•Experience in various methods of student data collection.
Preferred Qualifications:•Master’s degree from an accredited institution.
•Familiarity with student information systems (e.g., Banner, Target X).
